American Assassin

Movie opens up with our “actor” proposing to his bae. Terrorists subsequently mess him up by killing his bae and injuring him in the process. Our guy now proceeds to train himself and hunt the terrorists with such sheer determination that it gave me shivers. You know the type of determination you see that makes you want to embark on yours? That type of "new year resolution" feeling. The one that lasts just two hours after the movie.

Our proposing star ends up tracing one of the terrorists but the CIA cash in on the act and kill the terrorist and then capture him in the process.

What follows is a relentless action packed thriller. Hmmm. Ok, maybe I exaggerated. The action does get served, not relentlessly, but sufficiently enough to keep us engaged and entertained.

Beautiful picture. Though it was a pity what happened to his bae but hey, if not for her, we would have had no movie.
