The Justice League
Finally.
It is
confirmed now that the DC Cinematic Universe cannot reach the heights set
by the Marvel Cinematic World.
DC’s super
hero team, the Justice League, is their answer to Marvel’s Avengers. Could it
be that the late start by the DC world (especially when you think of the
fact that Marvel already has two Avengers movies out already with each being a
resounding success) is the reason for them not being able to meet up to
the Marvel World?
Another issue
I have with DC world is having a TV series before the movies. We had
Smallville, Flash and Arrow. I really wanted Tom Welling from Smallville
instead of Henry Cavill and I definitely would have preferred Grant Gustin
the TV Flash to Ezra Miller the movie Flash. I just feel it would help
with the connect -or do I say
disconnect- with the movie characters.
However, I
digress.
I did enjoy
the movie. I accepted the explanation for the resurrection of Superman who died
in "Batman Vs Superman" but I did not enjoy how strong Superman was
made to look. He was even as fast as the Flash. No, hes not. He is fast
but not as fast as the Flash. Check the comics and cartoons, if not why would
the flash be needed in the Justice League, if Superman is just as fast?
As for the
rest of the cast, Jason Momoa as Aquaman was brilliant, Wonder woman a perfect
10, Cyborg ,Jury still out while I don’t really dig Affleck as Batman.
I definitely
recommend the movie to comic fans but Marvel still holds the aces.
