The Lego Ninjago Movie

A boy hated by all and abandoned by his father. A boy who secretly forms part of an elite super team of heroes who save the city day after day. A boy who suffers from abandonment issues from his dad (who is a super villain) .

Sounds familiar, right?

Only this is the Lego version and it is a hilarious cartoon despite the subtle solemn undertone. Lego definitely has another hit on their hands with this one.

Young Master Lloyd also known as Green Ninja, must lead his friends to defeat the evil Lord Garmadon who also happens to be his father. The other ninjas all have special powers, one is master of ice, another is fire but Lloyd has no apparent power which was a current pun theme throughout the movie and a source of doubt for the young master. This with the emotional baggage of fighting his father to save the city constantly led to the young master making a blunder which plunges the city into ruins. The young ninja team had to embark on a dangerous journey to look for the ultimate weapon to save the city.
