Cooties

Zombie movies have always been a favourite of mine . A popular genre down the years. I wonder which Zombie movie was the first. The movies have also evolved. The first set had zombies as slow bumbling flesh eaters -or that’s the general caption. However, there are have been some twists along the line. The zombies in World War Z were pretty fast.

I think it has to do with keeping things fresh. Its like dating. If you keep doing movie nights, some one would get bored (but not me)! Or its like eating meat every day, a day would come and you would yearn for fish or chicken. A lot of people love zombie movies - or I presume they do - but after a while, it gets boring. A group of people surviving the initial virus that caused the zombie manifestation.  It is mostly always a virus.

We  need to get rid of viruses for real. Anyway, the survivors spent the whole movie escaping from the flesh eaters and provide us the viewers with pretty thrilling stuff along the way.

Cooties is no different. Just that this time around the zombies are only children. That’s the twist we were talking about earlier and the initial outbreak occurs in a school and our survivors are mostly teachers.

One thing though about the zombie movies, is that the endings are mostly hopeless as the whole world has the virus outbreak, I mean where will they run to? But not to sound so bleak as this is mostly a horror comedy or do I say horrific comedy?
