A Bad Moms Christmas

I enjoyed the first "Bad Moms" thoroughly. Oh, yes this is a sequel.

It is kind of a girlie movie but i must admit, I do enjoy such.

These movies tend to send me on a emotional roller coaster and still end up leaving me with the feel good effect after the finishing credits.

The movie is a “part two “ in every sense of the word. Our three protagonists : Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn are still doing a bad job at being mothers but in a fun way and this time around have their own mothers join in, in being bad mothers to the bad moms. Lol! And the grandmothers end up being friends as well.

The story centres around Christmas and the ensuing emotions that abound around that time of the year. There is also the mother and daughter relationship being explored here. And I do love how the emotions and insecurities that plague most families are revealed here and what I love the most about movies is how these insecurities are always resolved in a happy manner. Hmmm. Can’t our lives just be like the movies.

Seems much easier than real life.

Did it matter that I watched a Christmas movie in January? With tears in my eyes, the answer is: not one bit.
