Dawn of Justice
Seen, seen, seen!
I went early to the cinemas hoping to beat the large crowds.
Boy, was I wrong! Just to buy tickets, there was a long queue and guess what? The
queue was for the 3 pm showing. The 12:20 pm showing was sold out.
Well, after coming this far, I had no choice but to wait
till 3 pm.
Was it worth it? Especially after my earlier blog saying
that everyone should go and watch the movie.
Yes and No.
Yes because it serves up an action fest, the battle we have
always wanted to see.
Batman vs Superman
Alien vs Man
Day vs Night
Son of Krypton vs Bat of Gotham
The battle was what we have always wanted to see on the big
screen right from when we were little kids arguing about who will win in a
fight between Batman and Superman. I remember when my friend Yemi Ariyo first
told me he read a comic where Batman defeated Superman. I was like “wow, brains
over brawn”. Anyways, I digress.
Just like the title suggested, the movie was about the events
that led to the brawl and the eventual outcome. Also we got served sneak
previews of the other Justice League members.
The “no” was because ultimately there were fault lines in
the story telling; biggest goof I can remember now was how the word, “Martha”
ended the biggest combat in comic history. In the heat of battle, just yelling
the name of batman’s mother was enough to end the battle. “Rolling my eyes”.
Enough said. Watch it and draw your own conclusions.
I am giving out a free movie ticket to the first person to post
the answer to this question:
Who is the Aqua man's equivalent in the marvel world?
Namor AKA The Submariner.
ReplyDeletewe have a winnerrrrr
DeleteLol..I found the fight scene between batman and superman too predictable and abrupt..no thanks to "Martha"😒.. There was no post credit scene and for Petes sake, why did superman have to go through the kingly burial at the end of the movie only to slightly rattle the sand thrown on his coffin... Geez!!!😒😒😒😒😒😒😒
