Rush
I don’t watch Formula One. I never felt there was anything exciting
about the sport but I had to admit that after watching Rush. Just maybe there
is something about the sport after all.
The movie Rush tells the thrilling tale of the great rivalry
between playboy English man James Hunt played brilliantly by Thor, sorry I mean
Chris Hemsworth and the pragmatic Austrian Niki Lauda played by Daniel Bruhl.
This intense rivalry between the two men could be felt
across the screen and I can only imagine that this must be what must be going
on between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Director Ron Howard was so
brilliant that my allegiance to the two main characters kept swinging. At the
final car race, I was not even sure who I wanted to win.
Ron Howard takes us into the world of car racing, keeps us
glued with visuals of behind the wheel moments of car racing, the tracks
burning up as the car racers lapped them up. The danger, the next moment might
be your last moment, the moments in the car pits, Ron Howard takes us through
it all.
One question by James Hunt sums it all up for the car
racers” Is that not what we are in this for, to stare death in the face and
defeat it?”
And to think it was all based on a true life story.
Brilliant!
I actually enjoyed the film. It had a good rating by critics so I downloaded it but wasn't convinced I shd devote my time to watching it but boy was I wrong. It wasn't action packed as in fighting but i'll definitely recommend it also
ReplyDeleteDo you agree that is possible that's how Messi and Ronaldo view themselves?
