Rattlesnake - The Ahanna Story

I like what Ramsey Nouah is doing with the Old Nollywood hits from the 90s. I think the first one was Living in Bondage with Swanky JKA. It's just like Hollywood redoing some old hits and I think he deserves some praise for the initiative.

I must admit I only saw the first part of the old rattlesnake by Amaka Igwe and the remake by Ramsey was well done but my analysis is based on what I saw having missed out on part two of the old one.

Ramsey removed the unnesserary parts of the old movie and dived deep into the adult criminal life of Ahanna and his cronies but touched enough of his youth to enable the viewers know where he-Ahanna was coming from.

The cinematography and film tricks were stunning. The visual of a man being set on fire at the begining was so real that I was forced to comment, "Nollywood don step up ooo".

The acting and cast were all 100 percent and all though some of the storylines did'nt quite add up , I was prepared to over look it just to enjoy a good movie . A case in point was the apperance of Richard Williams from Living in Bondage. Was he just suggesting there would be a part 2 or he just wanted us to know he directed both movies?

I guess it's a result of watching too many movies. You question everything but did I enjoy the movie. Oh yeah, I did and that gives it a thumbs up.
